WTF Cooking: Holy Hippy Pseudo-Hummus Breakfast Burgers

Following [info]tristissima's fondness of WTF cooking, we made some Holy Hippy Pseudo-Hummus Breakfast Burgers. Makes approximately three servings.

1/2 16 oz. can Garbanzo Beans
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 monstrous cloves of garlic, pressed
2 small eggs, aborted
pinch ground black pepper
pinch salt
tspn. oregano
2 tbsp. flour

1) Combine the above, mashing the chick peas with a fork or other suitable instrument. Stir thoroughly. 2) Heat a frying pan to medium-high with 1 tspn. olive oil. Add about a third of the mixture and press it with a spoon into an appropriate patty-like shape. Let it cook for a while until it's relatively coherent and browned on one side, then flip and do same. Remove pseudo-hummus burger from frying pan using your favorite spatula-esque object. 3) Repeat step 2 twice more.

Now add the pseudo-hummus burgers to some bread or other device of similar functionality. We used Ezekiel 4:9 Bread, hence the titular Holy, "Take unto thou also Wheat, and Barley, and Beans, and Lentils, and Millet, and Spelt, and put them into one Vessel, and makest thou Bread of It." I'm not sure if the bread was actually baked with the heat of burning cow shit, as later verses of Ezekiel require, but whichever, it's a tasty bread.

Use your favorite fixin's - we used avocado, organic multi-color cherry tomatoes, organic alfalfa sprouts (hence the titular Hippy), and asiago cheese.

Well at least it doesn't have nerds on it... That's all I'm saying.
